What To Do When All the Responsibility Falls on You

For months, I lived among the fearful during the 2020 pandemic, but for a different reason. One friend was dealing with a second diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, another battling a debilitating depression, yet another was facing a terminal diagnosis from a rare brain tumor. The ills previously managed by three people were suddenly thrust on my own shoulders alone. My world collapsed in on me.

Amid all of the disaster, big lessons were learned. New steps taken. I began to see the gift in comforting someone who lived in daily pain.

"Revealing, emotional and powerful. Anyone who has ever lost someone to an incurable disease can identify with this heartbreaking true story." - Sherman Hutchinson
